Bosso drop points in goalless draw with Triangle
ZIMBABWE premiership early pacesetters Highlanders FC dropped their first set of points in their 2018 campaign when they played to a goalless draw with Triangle in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter at Barbourfields stadium Friday afternoon.
The Madinda Ndlovu coached outfit was expected to steamroll over the premiership minnows but chose to disappoint in front of their fans.
Highlanders has not lost a game in the just started 2018 premiership season, winning two and drawing with Triangle.
They meet arch rivals Dynamos in a potentially explosive clash on Easter Monday.
In another match played same time, premiership newcomers Nichrut twice came from behind to force a 2:2 draw with hosts Shabanie Mine.
Richard Kawondera struck after seven minutes for Shabanie but Nigel Mupinduki levelled the scores for Nichrut a minute after half time.
Shabanie Mine’s David Temwanjira returned after 71 minutes to restore the Zvishavane side’s lead and take his own goal tally to 4 goals in three matches.
But the Zvishavane side could not hold on, conceding a goal with two minutes left of play, thanks to a strike by former Dynamos star Farai Vimisayi.
