The minister this week released annual Crime Stats that showed Nyanga remains the murder capital of South Africa.
CAPE TOWN - Police Minister Fikile Mbalula has told a community meeting in Nyanga that the lack of visible policing will soon be a thing of the past.
Mbalula is visiting the area following the release of Crime Stats this week.
Residents from Langa and Philippi East have also gathered to hear the minister speak at the Zola Hall in Nyanga.
Community members have come out in their numbers to listen to Mbalula.
Mbalula has on Thursday promised to ensure there is more visible policing in Nyanga and other crime stricken areas.
