The month-to-month subscription program, dubbed Porsche Passport, is basically like Netflix for Porsches
Porsche wants to help elevate your baller status with a new sports car and SUV subscription program.
Announced Tuesday, the month-to-month subscription program, dubbed Porsche Passport, is basically like Netflix for Porsches. Because, why settle for one Porsche when you can drive a different one every day of the week?
For $2,000 a month, you get on-demand access to eight different Porsche models, including the 718 Boxster and Cayman S, as well as the Macan S and Cayenne. Tack on an extra grand a month and that jumps to 22 models, including the Porsche 911 Carrera S, Panamera 4S sports sedan, Macan GTS, and Cayenne S E-Hybrid SUVs, plus everything included in the cheaper package.
Porsche is piloting the new program in Atlanta with the help of technology partner Clutch Technologies.
Members will be able to schedule "same day or future vehicle exchanges" via the Porsche Passport app, the company said. Porsche promised "white-glove vehicle delivery" to your requested location, beginning next month. Depending on how the pilot gors, the program may expand to other areas beyond Atlanta.
"Catering to customers' desire to experience our sports cars in new ways is a part of our core strategy," Porsche Cars North America President and CEO Klaus Zellmer said in a statement. "With Porsche Passport, we now offer our customers a simple and flexible driving solution at their fingertips."
