Take That’s Howard Donald has all but confirmed the band are in the studio working on new material.
Although Gary Barlow had previously hinted about Take That reuniting in 2014, Donald took to Twitter on Tuesday morning with a message to his followers which appeared to all but confirm work on a new album was underway.
However he made no mention of the other Take That boys joining him in the studio – while it remains unclear whether the band’s new material will feature Robbie Williams despite Barlow’s insistance that he wants the singer back on board.
Speculation over the arrival of the band’s new album mounted after Gary Barlow announced in October that he was leaving The X Factor at the end of the 2013 series.
Take That’s last album Progress topped the charts in 2010, while Barlow’s recent solo effort Since I Saw You Last reached number two in the album charts in November.
